There are many who watch to football in a pub, from a big TV screen.
(I'm not so ardent watching football...)

Time
to slake their thirst --
a happy hour

Great picture, but I am afraid, I do not understand the haiku properly.

Best wishes

Ralf:

It's a late evening; 23:08. After a football match in TV the strong feelings are still there, or here.

"Strong feelings" synonum also "full of fire" used somehere sometimes.

TV antenna seems a sleepy one, or am I myself a sleepy? The sky is red and not going to sleep. (As you know it is not so dark yet, must wait until August to get darker night.)

Choosed that full of fire because the sky was in fire.

e.t.c.

Many Finns watching the Football and Ice Hockey in a pub, together with others. Pub's often having a huge screen. Or screens.

The Happy Hour time is usually much earlier than those games seen in TV.

And at last; after a heavy football-fighting how is that small Football feeling?
