November 2015 Free format short poem was EVENING WINDOW

(My text built by word cool.)

November Kigo

snowbird
heading sunwards -
melting wings

Bird? Snowbird is a human, traveling from freezing North Southwards.
My mother-in-law was a snowbird, she flew every autumn to Portugal, where she hired an apartemento. When sun again up and warmer in Finland she returned home...

Also everyone will remember Icarus.

Text reminds me about something, perhaps there is a similar haiku somewhere?

That's why I did not sent that into Shikimontly...
