after twelve days and night
a New Year's eve!

I just had a conversation with my Friend Samuli. He lives now in Addis Abeba. (Addis Abeba = New Flower.) He just bought some bananas; yellow ones with some dark spots...

green bananas; we Trinis also say 'green fig' (and we mean one or more green bananas) and for the Christmas Season we make a small rectangular shaped corn meal patti which stuffed with vegetables, meat or fish wrapped in banana leaves and steamed these we call Pastels - a Christmas traditional

stay warm

Gillena: Thanks for this Trini's green fig! Interesting.

And 12 days, did I miss it...

I have quite a lot time nowadays but somehow I found I lost it all the time?

How come?

Merry Christmas!
