Bankers' crisis --
eight-petalled anemone
blooming it's best
Reminded me the following waka:
The eight-petalled cherries
From the Nara capital
Of the ancient past
Today nine layers thick
Have bloomed within our court!
(Ise no Tayuu, tr. by Joshua S. Mostow from

Honolulu 1996.)
ps.
(Bankers crisis; The Creeks lived beyond one's means, now the other European countries are helping them, also Finland.)
