the global freezing
Visited my mother-in-law at Vinkara, Kivilahti, at Ilomantsi. (Eastern Finland.)
The word "vinkara" is said to be an old Sami or Lappish word. They are supposed to live there some thousand years ago, after the ice age. Just some names left. Vinkara means a hill with some kind of freezing wind. Nowadays there are some Sami-people (Lappish) living in Northern part of Finland, Sweden and Norway and Russia. I have some friends among them over there.
