Just returned yeasterday from my trip to Lappland. Tried twice to visit small rapids inside the deep forest running Bassijohka Bassi = Sami meaning something sacred, and johka meaning just a river. Found that river or creek but the bigger rapids we didn't. Walked there with my friend, who is a writer and a sami-writers son.
hided oneself a sacred rapid - just some mosquitoes
