Here just today... I remember a story from Lappland; a tourist came during the middle of July up there. Slushy and some snowshowers... Tourist asked locals when the summer will arrive. "A nuu"(*, answered a lappish man, - you are late, it was yesterday.
(* meaning "oh yes."
(I'm going to spend that day during midsummer-day-time up there. .-)
