Global Freezing

Finland, and some parts of Europe, got a long and cold spring.

Coldest for a hundred years, they say.

Continuous jet streams directly from north Pole area.

I'm calling this climate as a Global Freezing.

Visited my mother-in-law at Vinkara, Kivilahti, at Ilomantsi. (Eastern Finland.)

The word "vinkara" is said to be an old Sami or Lappish word. They are supposed to live there some thousand years ago, after the ice age. Just some names left. Vinkara means a hill with some kind of freezing wind. Nowadays there are some Sami-people (Lappish) living in Northern part of Finland, Sweden and Norway and Russia. I have some friends among them over there.

Bird? Snowbird is a human, traveling from freezing North Southwards.
My mother-in-law was a snowbird, she flew every autumn to Portugal, where she hired an apartemento. When sun again up and warmer in Finland she returned home...
